One of my proudest moments was the formation of our survival school. Bell County Wilderness Survival Group is comprehensive and is as modern as it is primitive. We utilize the military teaching system the support maximum retainabilty. Our members come from all backgrounds, ages and cultures. The one thing we all have in common is the desire to grow together.

We teach all forms of primitive basic skills combined with modern survival sciences. We choose a very user friendly platform for registration, tracking events, networking, and RSVP. Currently registrations are free of charge thus simplifying the registration process. We don't only focus on survival related activities. We offer outdoor group activities on a weekend basis. Some activities include hiking, biking, camping, fishing, running/jogging, nature walks, backpacking, coffee socials, BBQ's, bowling, etc.

Our main focus is the survival aspect, surviving in extreme wilderness conditions. We teach, fire crafting methods, shelter construction, stone tool making, wood carving, foreaging plants and insects.

We offer training in rappelling, rock climbing, bouldering, mountaineering, setting traps and snares. Some of our members enjoy birding, noodling, hunting, tracking and more.

Part of survival involves personal security, self-defense, fire arms training, land navigation, map reading, terrain association and weapons disarming.

We also teach common sense approaches to emergency preparedness. We offer training in mitigating risk and avoiding poor prior planning.

Certain members are knowledgable in prepping and enjoy sharring ideas and experiences. Most of our instructors have been trained in military fighting styles, as well as various fighting arts.

Our school is small and specialized, however we are known all around the world. We have members that reside in various states within the United States, also from other countries in the United Kingdom.
